Meet Sandi Coryell

About Sandi Coryell

Short Bio

Keynote Speaker, Author of The Deviant Advantage: The Key to Leading Anyone in Any Situation, Leadership Consultant

At an early age, Leadership Speaker Sandi Coryell discovered that firing people up to do something they didn't know they wanted to do….or that they could do……was a quality she wanted to develop.

Never a stand out in organized sports, Sandi is none the less the proud owner of a silver medal won in her hometown’s Junior Olympics at the age of 10. ( Ask to see the picture!) All because an inner city park’s volunteer made Sandi realize that she could accomplish far more than she believed.

That influence carried over into Sandi’s professional life. In her 20 plus year career as President of DDB Worldwide’s entertainment office, she developed hundreds of leaders. Created enviable teams with low single digit attrition rates. And built an inclusive culture that produced long term double digit profitability. And sustained long term client relationships.

All in the high pressure, time constrained entertainment advertising industry. Where turnover of burned out talent typically tops 50%. And profitability teeters year to year as clients consider greener pastures.

Now, Sandi shares the techniques she used to achieve those results with leaders in high pressure industries. So that they can attract and retain top talent. And develop collaborative and innovative teams. And grow their businesses year over year.

And because she wanted to see what it was like to have to do homework again, Sandi earned her Master’s degree in Management with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior in 2014.

And she learned why a young volunteer was able to get an unmotivated 10 year old into the winners circle.

And how you can do the same with your team. Your clients. And your organization.
